Winter Steelhead

Heres 3 more steelhead I caught last weekend. Heading up to catch the big ones here in 2 weeks. Can't wait!!!!

Are you fishing on the main Salmon or are you going further north to the Clearwater? At any rate, it looks like fun. I hope to get out this spring to fish for steelies. They sure are fun to catch. Nice job and great pics.

 Actually Wiley I was down out of Hells Canyon, but getting ready to head up north to the Clearwater soon.. :thumb

I got 2 does yesterday, both are good size. What do u guys think?

This fish is 14.5lb doe, she was a hatchery so i kept her for dinner

Here's the smaller fish sitting next to my rod, she was 34.5 inches long.

Sorry about the quality in the first photo, it was taken with a camera phone, the second was with a normal digital.

Its not like i get those every weekend. :)) No i do alright but that second fish is a tank an i got lucky enough to 1 hook it and 2 land it, i was using a #4 hook and 6lb leader. One advantage of living in BC,
