All right Coloradobuck! I hope you draw! Are you putting in for the fourth season. How has the winter been, and have you seen a good amount of bucks this year and how about the big boys are you seeing many in 44.

Colorado, I usually hunt unit 444 south of Eagle. Do you know if there was much of a winter kill?

Thanks

I was thinking of trying out unit 35 or 444 specially with the new later season dates. What do you think of theses units

well 444 got some heavy snow this year same with much of eagle county most of the deer and elk made it down to the ranches and are doin fine. im sure theres a few winter kill but its not like it was just a few years ago . 35 is still doin well havent been up there in a few days but theres still alot of good bucks up there. 444 and 35 are good units. 35 does have alot of hunters in it tho witch is bad and good in some ways cause theres alot of roads in 35 witch means alot of road hunters so if you get off the road and can hike a ways then you will get a good chance at getn a good buck. and in 444 is very good huntn the red table side is real good if you can stand to hike a ways and on the eagle side up by lime park is good good huntn for both elk and deer . there are a few moose there so be sure of your target lol. but as far as i no the winter kill hasnt been to bad this year even tho we have had more snow in some areas then in past years

I'm thinking unit 14 for the early wilderness hunt. I like the high country and it's the only one I have a shot at this year.
