WY region J

I am new to the forum and to western big game hunting. I am hoping you guys can help me out with a few questions I have about region J. First off, I will be hunting the medicine bow national forest for deer. I was looking at the public land that runs along cottonwood rd. It seems to be pretty rugged, with many hiding spots.

What type of pressure can I expect to see during the first week of the deer season? Is there a decent population in this area? What would be an average deer in this region? Should I be looking in other areas of the region?
