WY Unit 158

I just drew a Wyoming left-over unit 158 tag. If anybody has any insight or information on this unit, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

158 is a limited unit there is left over tags becuase of the unit being mostly private I see you bought an antelope tag in 25 which covers most of 158 for deer.

Did you by any chance buy the tags becuase they were available?
The reason I ask is it is common every year in the area because there is always an abundance of left overs dur to all the private.

There are whiteails and mulies in 158 I would contact the warden in the area to get info on landowners and get some up to date blm maps public land is there but some of it is land locked I hunt just north of Casper on a friends ranch.

you can also try to get on a hunter managment property throught the fish and game good luck as the deer hunting is a draw to do so.

158 and 25 never sell out as great white said.I hunted 158 last year and did real well and had a great hunt but we paid a steep trespass fee.
There are seveal ranches that allow hunters daily access for a fee of 50-100 dollars a day I believe the Casper chamber of commerce can help you out.
Check out the "access Yes" program through Fish and Game too.
Im not sure but thunder basin national grasssland may be in 158, but Im not sure.
Good luck!!

There is only one in 158, but I can also hunt unit 22 with that tag, and there's another walk-in area over there.
