I will be hunting this Saturday! I have been waiting with great anticipation and have been eyeing a nice buck since July.

I have some very nice scouting video of a tall 8x7, however I not sure how to capture pics out of it to post. If any one knows of a way to do so please let me know.

It really depends on what OS you use and where the media is currently stored. For instance if you have it on a camera then you can probably import the raw footage through your Firewire or USB ports. If the video is on Tape, you'll need some RCA/SVideo jacks on your video card.

If you have Windows XP, you can use Windows Movie Maker to do the importing and then capture a clip of the video to photo.

Thanks for the input. I have my video on a sony DVD handycam and it comes with it's own editing software. I will check out the Windows program to see if I can caputre a frame or two.

I hope to have some NEW pics this Saturday after I shot him....fingers crossed!

I am leaving tomorrow morning at 4:30 am to get my last day of galssing in before its' showtime.

My neighbor and I plan to be way back on Telephone Creek when the sun comes up tomorrow. Since I got the antelope, Billy gets first crack at the deer so we'll see how it goes. Good Luck!
