I remember quite a few years back, in the '70's, we had stopped at a roadside campground for lunch on the way to camp. On the way back, the campgroung was closed due to the plague. I thought it was called the "blue bonnet" plague at the time...lol I know it's carried by fleas on different animals but didn't realize, too, that cats could die of it.

Wow, that is strange. I had no idea that the plague could be transferred through cats. I guess they have to have some purpose......
