Wyoming Mule Deer - 27" wide outside, and gross' scores 177 2/8

"Opening day of deer season, after walking and glassing all morning, me and my buddy started throwing rocks into the timbered†draws running up the mountains to get bedded deer to come out.†Five draws later I spotted this big boy at 336 yds. I decided that I could make this shot, and tried but my heart sank as I watched dirt blow up beneath him. He then started to run and I shot over him when he stopped at 350 yds. Then he turned around and started straight for us. My heart lept for joy as my 7 mm ( and I) redeemed ourselves dropping him at 315 yds. He didn't have ground shrinkage!!†He is 27" wide outside, and gross' scores 177 2/8. My friend took a nice 5x5, and my other friend took a nice 4x4 on the same day."
