honestly x2 archery A4 isnt a good hunt. 90% of the deer are migratory from oregons interstate unit or x1s medicine lake area, i live in dorris CA and spend countless hours shed hunting and video taping the big mulies of devils garden and modoc county while on their winter ground. but there are very few good bucks that live there year round very few since u got an a4 tag already i would try the doublehead mtn area to the south of clear lake (good yearound water source) and have seen and found a shed of one monster eight point not counting eye guards n hes a local buck! now the a27 hunt is a good if the weather pushs the bucks into migration, same with the x2 rifle and late season muzzleloader!! WEATHER DEPENDENT!!!! if u get the bad weather your n for a great season if its hot , well chances are itll be tag soup!!

exit28nv, how did you do in X2?
2316cwb, any advice for the 2015 X2 rifle hunt?
I drew the tag and am not familiar with that country since after the burn (Scarface?) in the mid 70's.
