It's a Knight .50 cal, I'd have to see what model. But what makes it the best there is.... is that I won it in a raffle. Bought $10 worth of tickets and won a $300 rifle.
To this day, my dad and father in law claim they won the rifle, as they had tickets but weren't present at the drawing.
I know who won and so do they. Can't wait for the day when I can take a nice buck with it.
Shot at a couple of whitetails with it already, but one dissappeared never to be found and the other was a misfire due to the caps I was using. Got the caps from my dad...hmmmm????
Have taken a antelope and a 4pt mulie with it.
28"greenmountain barrel
50 cal
120gr 777 and a 300g barnes MZ
4 mulies, 2 pronghorn, 1 elk, 3 coyotes, countless jacks........
not quite as good as Jbird's, but purdy darn close!
300 gr. SST , 100 gr 777
3 whitetails
going for moose next september, we drew a muzzleloader only tag.
My oldest so has one .
I have a Traditions muzzleloader and love it . Its a nail driver .
Lets us know how it shoots !!!
CVA Buckhorn Magnum .50 cal
Took my first deer last fall with the CVA. MAN them's good times!

Here's one of my blacktails.
My best mule deer.
I shot that guy back in '94. He grosses a bit over 210, not bad for Oregon. Its a tough huint to draw, usually around 700 apps for 10 tags.
After seeing your photography, I somehow knew you had a big ole muley waiting to show us. :)
GREAT buck! :thumb
I'm mostly interested in quality, uncrowded hunts, so my drawing success rate is dismal, but when I do draw, its worth it. I use whatever weapon the hunt that catches my eye requires, but I do have a fondness for blackpowder weapons. Since I seldom draw the tag I want, chasing the big ones with my Nikon helps pass the time. The nice thing about wildlife photography is no seasons, no bag limit, and I can shoot the same trophy time after time.
