YouTube Hunting Shows

I've been itching to hunt this year. The last few days I've been watching different hunts on YouTube, and I have to say that I wish there was a way to filter what gets put out there. In some there wasn't much "hunting" going on, more guys driving down the road and jumping out to shoot deer that jump out in front of them.
Then I came across a group of guys that put on their own show. They did several hunts in both Montana and Washington. They seemed to be very good hunters, and hunted hard. The only thing that really disturbed me was a few of the shots they took. Of the several episodes I watched, more than half of the shots taken were questionable, and shots that I wouldn't take. They show multiple moving headshots, shoot at deer more than quartering away, and one moving broadside that they had to track for 4 hours and 4 miles to find and then put down. Now I know I'm making a big assumption, but if they show several risky shots that ended up working for them, how many have these guys wounded over the years.
I think the few threads on here from guys that haven't been able to recover deer bowhunting has really made me think about the shots I take more. Fortunately at this point I have never lost an animal.
On the other hand, watching the videos just makes me want to get out and hunt more.

I was watching a hunting show on TV today about an "established" hunter talking about passing on a shot because there was a barn behind the buck. Problem was, the buck was moving and about to jump over a fence line at 125 yards.
Now, I'm not an "established" hunter, but I would never shoot at anything that has been spooked and about to jump over a fence. Oh, did I mention that said hunter did not have permisssion to hunt on the other side of the fence?
Sure didn't come across to me that this guy really knew what an ethical shot really is.
